ALROSA sells large rough diamonds in Israel for $9.6 mln
MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- Russian uncut diamond giant ALROSA has sold 92 gem-quality rough diamonds with a total weight of 1,570 carats for U.S. $9.6 million at an auction in Israel, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The diamonds were purchased by firms from Israel, Russia, Hong Kong, Belgium, India, the United Arab Emirates, and the U.S.
The company plans to conduct five more auctions in 2019.
